Compassion Rockwood is a day of service to the community of Rockwood in East Multnomah County providing free medical, dental, foot, and chiropractic services as well as a Social Service Fair. The time for the fair is from 9:00 - 3:00. We have asked fair participants to be there from 8:30 - 3:30. Each year we have had people show up a early as 7:00, so fair participants are welcome to show up early if they choose. We will have staff on site by 6:30.
This year's Social Service Fair has some changes. There is a new gym
layout, an interactive questionnaire to link guests needs with social
services represented at the fair, and more interactive exhibits. There is a social
service form which each fair participant needs to fill out. There is also
a $30 fee this year which helps cover space rental and equipment. If this
is a financial challenge for anyone, then just let us know. Please be descriptive
about the area of service and what each table hopes to share. Also,
please indicate if you would like recognition of participation on the website,
future PR releases, and future brochures and we will work with you to see how
that can be done.
