Compassion Clinic
Compassion Rockwood is a catalytic event designed to show the love of God to the greater Rockwood community. Our guests experience His love through the provision of basic health care and social service networking.
The ministries lasting effects are collaborative efforts and ongoing relationships. The value and dignity of our guests are continually encouraged by inviting them to reinvest in the neighborhood through their own acts of service.
This clinic is limited in the services it can provide. Therefore, we are asking that members of the community attend if they are uninsured and have a real need for care, especially in the area of dental. We do require guests to sign a waiver about their income level and their commitment to give back to their community through volunteering. This is all based on the honor system.
Volunteering: Thank you for your interest in serving with Compassion Rockwood! Unfortunately, volunteer registration is closed at this time due to the nearness of the clinic day. While we are grateful for your willingness to serve with us this year we want each volunteer to feel prepared for their role in Compassion Rockwood. We would love to include you next year and hope that you will consider serving alongside us in 2011. Please continue to pray for Compassion Rockwood and consider serving at one the other Compassion clinics that will be held throughout the Portland Metro area this summer.
